This should (hopefully!) be my last multi-week post. I am determined to catch up and begin chronicling our home learning , loving, & living more consistently in these weekly posts. I am very grateful for the Mamatography Project for keeping me motivated to complete these, even when I fall behind!
So here are weeks 37-39, this covers September 7-27 2014. This was a crazy fun time where we were able to enjoy Shane being off of work, Disney, and Audrey’s birthday (twice). Again, not a lot of learning activity in this post but a bunch of living and loving!
Alex won an awesome sword in fencing. We had to sign a waiver before bringing it home, it could be dangerous, but I need not worry about cautious Alex – he will not remove the sword and gets nervous if anyone else does.
The girls and I went to a Bald is Beautiful support party for beautiful and brave Lily. Alex was bummed that he could not attend but he had a cold and could not be near Lily.
This is such a beautiful moment. Lily shaving her sweet mama’s head. I love these people. Find out how you can support Lily here.
Ava has had a very loose tooth hanging on for weeks. She refuses to pull her teeth (opposite of Alex) and finally her 2nd tooth finally fell out – on it’s own, totally unassisted.
Audrey and Alex had a combined birthday party so that their daddy would be home to celebrate with them.
We enjoyed a morning laughing and crying at the Orlando Cure Search Walk. Lily had the most people who joined her team so Team Lily Kate was able to lead the walk. Alex stayed up late the night before sewing his shirt.
Then we had to say goodbye to Shane (this always sucks big time) with more princesses at the airport.
Ava enjoyed learning code at a local code lab.
Now time for Audrey’s actual birthday. Guess where she wanted to go? Disney!
We stayed so long at the Magic Kingdom & Epcot that the kids were all asleep when we got home so of course we had ice cream cake to celebrate Audrey turning 4!
