Music Break!

September 30th, 2011 | Posted by Angela Roberts in Family Fun!

After a very frazzled week I have decided today is going to be a day of peace.  I have been very tense this week trying to get too many things done and not feeling like I have accomplished much so today I am going to sit back and enjoy my amazing kids.

We started the day at a slow pace staying in our PJ’s until almost lunch.  We finally got dressed then had a picnic in the living room.  What better way to transition from lazy to fun than MUSIC TIME!!

You won’t see Alex up and dancing because that is simply not his ‘thing’.  He is behind me watching and smiling.  He won’t dance with the girls but he loves to watch.

Ava like to make the music as much as she likes to dance.

Audrey LOVES to get her groove on!

So us girls had a blast dancing and Alex had fun watching.  It was a great transition from lazy to ‘let’s get this day started’.

Now it is time for Audrey to take a nap and hopefully we can get some schoolwork accomplished.  However, I do feel that we already knocked out music & PE for the day.

Looks like so much fun. We try to squeeze in music/dancing time right before our baths. Buck dances now but that may not last! I usually get on my knees to dance with them but they don’t get it and they get on their knees too which is funny. Maybe I will try on Sunday to put everything aside and just relax with the kidz too. You’ve inspired me.

Too cute how they dance on their knees. I typically have Audrey on my hip so Ava will get a baby doll and dance with ‘her’ baby on her hip! I can assure you that you are a constant inspiration to me. Hope you had a great Sunday and enjoyed those beautiful kids!
