Roasted Broccoli

March 14th, 2012 | Posted by Angela in Recipes | Side Dishes | Vegetarian

This is one of our families favorite way to eat broccoli.  We typically eat this at least twice a week.

Here is what you need:  2 heads of broccoli, 4 cloves of garlic diced finely, 4 tablespoons olive oil, 1 lemon, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Here is what you do:  Cut the broccoli then toss with olive oil, garlic, sea salt, and pepper.

Place on cookie sheet (my cookie sheet is covered with foil because I am simply embarrassed by their poor condition).

Roast in oven at 425 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.  Remove from oven.  Squeeze juice of lemon over top of broccoli then cover with parmesan.  Serve immediately.

Enjoy!
